How To Apply

Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters

APPLY WITH CONFIDENCE!

Remember these clusters are completely customizable, so choose which lash shape you want before applying.

Use the same length clusters for a natural, round lash, or incrementally longer clusters for a flared, cat-eye lash.

  • Prep

Begin by cleaning your natural lashes, ensuring there are no oils, mascara, concealer, skincare products, or makeup of any kind around the eye area.
For the best results, use our Lash Clean oil- free makeup remover.

Ensure your lashes are completely dry before applying Velour-Xtensions™ Clusters.

  • Step 1

Application starts from the outer corner of the eye.
Option A : Pick up the longest lash cluster (far right of the pack) and apply the Multi-Day Lash Bond across the top side of the band and
Option B : Apply to the underside of your natural lashes (only where the first cluster will be placed). Wait to apply the lash cluster to the eye until the bond is tacky (10-15 seconds).

Pro Tip:

Focus the bond application at the base of your natural lashes, avoiding the tips. We suggest dabbing the bond rather than combing through for precise application. Apply the bond close to the waterline on the underside of your upper lashes while ensuring not to touch the skin.

  • Step 2

Once the bond has become tacky, use the gold applicator tip of the Too Real Lash Extension Tool to place the first Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Cluster on the underside of your natural lashes, starting with the outer corner right above the waterline.

Pro Tip: Lift the eyelid up with the fingertips of your free hand. This will help the cluster band reach the base of the underside of your natural lashes. Let this lash cluster set for at least 1 minute before proceeding to the next step.

  • Pro Tip

*Only if using the Too Real Lash Extension Tool

Use the white silicone angled tip of the Too Real Lash Extension Tool to gently press the Velour-Xtensions™  lash cluster upwards into the base of your natural lashes. This will help put the lash cluster in place before fusing it to your natural lashes.

  • Step 3

Using the precision gold tip of the Velour Too Real Lash Extension Tool, follow the curvature of your natural lash line to press down and fuse the Velour-Xtensions™ lash cluster and your natural lashes together to secure it in place.

Repeat steps 2–4 for the remaining two clusters, moving along the lash line from outer to inner corner.

Pro Tip: Wipe the Too Real Lash Extension Tool between cluster applications to remove any excess bond and prevent lashes from sticking to the tool.

  • Final Look

How To Remove

To remove Velour-Xtensions™, apply an oil-based makeup remover to a cotton pad and hold it over your eyelids and lashes for a few seconds to loosen the bond before gently sliding off the Lash Clusters.

Pro Tip: Be patient - if the lash clusters don’t immediately slide off, apply more remover and wait several minutes. Do not pull.

FAQs

How do I know where to apply the different lengths of Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters on my eyes?

There are no rules when it comes to our clusters as they're completely customizable!

Velour-Xtensions™ Kit: The three rows in the box indicate the length of the cluster, from top to bottom, the clusters are 10mm, 12mm, 14mm. Use  incrementally longer clusters for a flared, cat-eye lash (e.g. 10, 12, 14).

Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters: The three columns in the box indicate the length of the cluster, from left to right, the clusters are 10mm, 12mm, 14mm. Use the same length clusters for a natural, round lash (e.g. 12, 12, 12) or incrementally longer clusters for a flared, cat-eye lash (e.g. 10, 12, 14).

What is the difference between Classic, Hybrid and Volume Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters?

The volume and thickness of the fibres. Classic is the most natural-looking, Hybrid gives you a full lash look, and Volume is the most glam.

Are Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters reusable?

If you're applying them with the Multi-Day Lash Bond for several day wear (underneath the natural lash), we recommend only applying Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters once. If you choose to wear them above the lash line, with a traditional lash glue, like Velour White Latex-Free Lash Adhesive , you can reuse them.

What  do I need to apply Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters?

It depends on how you want to apply them! If you'd like to get multi-day wear, you will need the Velour Too Real Lash Extension Tool and Multi-Day Lash Bond to apply our lash clusters. If you're looking for daily wear, we recommend the Velour White Latex-Free Lash Adhesive and the Velour Too Easy Lash Applicator.

Can I use the Velour Too Real Lash Extension Tool to apply regular false lashes?

This extension tool is made specifically for Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters, but it could also work for false lashes. We'd recommend our Too Easy Lash Applicator that was created just for false lashes - both tools support the application experience in different ways!

What is the best way to clean the Velour Too Real Lash Extension Tool?

For a quick clean, you can wipe down the tool with a makeup remover like Velour Lash Clean. Otherwise, you can sanitize it in alcohol at home. If you're using it in a professional setting, the tool can be placed in a sterilizer.

Can I use the Multi-Day Lash Bond with regular false lashes instead of Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters?

No, this lash bond was created specifically for our lash clusters and is designed to be applied underneath your natural lashes. We do not recommend using it with other false lashes, individual lashes or lash extensions.

What if I apply too much Multi-Day Lash Bond?

If you applied to much of the lash bond during application, use an oil-based makeup remover to remove the bond and start again on that eye. For more info on proper removal, check out our How to Remove section!

What happens if I get the Multi-Day Lash Bond wet before 24hrs after applying, and what can I do to fix them?

This can disrupt the lash bond from drying properly, which will prevent you from getting the most wear out of your lash clusters. If you do get them wet before the 24hr mark and the clusters have loosened, you can re-fuse them with the Too Real Lash Extension Tool. Ensure you do this in a dry, non-humid environment (i.e. not in the shower). If a cluster or multiple clusters have completely fallen off due to getting wet within the first 24 hours, then you will need to start the application process again from the beginning.
