Application, Removal & Care
If you've never applied lashes before, don't worry, we're here to help! Like with everything else, practice makes perfect with lash application. You can find more detailed instructions on our How to Apply page.
We recommend curling your natural lashes and applying mascara before you apply false lashes. A gentle curl of your natural lashes will lift them up, giving more structure and support to the false lash.
Pro Tip: Before you apply false lashes for the first time, practice your placement (especially if you plan on wearing them for a special event).Gently remove lashes from the tray. Toggle the band back and forth to ensure the lash isn’t stiff for application.
STEP 1. Measure and trim the false lash to fit your natural lash line. Ensure to trim from the outer corner, not the inner.
STEP 2
Option A: Using Velour Lash Adhesive: Apply a thin layer to the lash band and wait 30 seconds. Pro Tip: Our formula actually turns from white to a blue sheen so you'll know it's ready to apply!
Option B: Using Velour Lash & Go Eyeliner: Starting with one eye, apply from inner to outer corner of the lash line. Apply the false lash while the eyeliner is still wet.
Option C: Using the Velour Glue & Go Pen: Apply the Velour Glue & Go Pen directly onto your natural lash line, from inner to outer corner.
Pro Tip: Lash & Go and Glue & Go dry down pretty quickly, so we recommend doing this on one eye at a time.
STEP 3. Place the lash as close to your natural lash line as possible and adjust as necessary. Repeat steps on the other eye.
Gently remove lashes by peeling from the outer to inner corner of your eye. Keep your lashes in the box while not being worn to ensure 20+ wears.
With proper care you can get 20+ uses from Plant Fibre lashes.Proper care involves being gentle and keeping the lashes clean. Please refer to the How To Care section on our website to see detailed instructions for extending the life of your false lashes.

"I have the original plant fibre styles and was so excited to try some of the new styles-- I was especially excited to see some styles that were slightly more dramatic with some longer fibers. I have asian hooded eyes with naturally short lashes, so the right kind of dramatic/glam lash has to have medium length fibers that aren't too long that it would overpower my eyes or that the fibers reach my brows (as well as not to thick/heavy looking). The pixie dust style is the perfect medium/long length for a glam/going out look for me. The lash band is comfortable and flexible, and the lash itself is very lightweight. The lashes have a nice flare/cat eye effect at the end that naturally tapers out. I feel like my eyes look more sultry and sexy with these lashes. Overall love these and one of my favorite plant fibre styles!"

"The quality of Velour Lashes is amazing, first time trying the Plant Fibre type and while the band is more flexible they're easy to apply. I wouldn't say this is my favorite style for my eye shape (hooded and big eyes) but the style description is very accurate (flare, glam and criss-cross) so I would recommend checking the lashes description to assure the lash is going to match your expectations."

They sit lightly on my lids, and the fluffiness of the lashes was a little distracting, for I could see the odd hair when I was reading or staring at the computer, Though they gave my eyes that pop of glamour and drama. I did not experience shedding on repeat use, and they cleaned quickly. This model can be worn daily and is more suited for an evening out."
