Usage & Care of Lashes
How do you remove false eyelashes?
To remove Velour Lashes, use your finger or applicator and gently pull from the outer corner of the lash band across the eye. Never pull on the lash hairs as this may damage the lash and result in the lash hairs falling off of the lash band prematurely. Please visit our How to Care page for a tutorial.
Who can use false eyelashes?
Everyone and anyone! At Velour™, we believe anyone can Live in Lashes™ and we encourage every woman to feel and look their best. Velour Lashes are hypo-allergenic and sanitized so even the most sensitive of eyes can wear them. Whether it is for an office meeting, night out, dance recital, wedding, or grocery shopping, we have a wide range of styles that are versatile to suit any look and occasion!
How do I clean my false lashes?
Please refer to this video on how to clean and care for your lashes. You can also learn more on our How to Care page.
How do I know which lashes are right for my eyes?
Each eye is unique and that is why we have one of the widest selections of lash styles available. Finding the right lash depends on the makeup look you are seeking, as well as your eye shape. Visit our Lash Guide to find the perfect pair of lashes. You are also welcome to contact one of our Lash Connoisseurs for assistance. We have it down to a science and pretty much live for helping our customers find the perfect lashes!
Can I apply mascara to my Velour Lashes?
Please do not apply mascara to your Velour Lashes as this can ruin the quality of the hair and limit the number of uses. Many cosmetic products contain oils that can ruin the shine and quality of the hair. It is, however, okay to apply mascara on your natural lashes before applying your Velour Lashes.
Can I curl my Velour Lashes?
Yes! Because Velour Lashes are made of a material that mimics human hair, you can curl the lashes as if they were your own. We do not recommend using heated eyelash curlers.
Can I wear Velour Lashes if I have eyelash extensions?
We do not recommend wearing Velour Lashes if you have eyelash extensions.
Where do I store my Velour Lashes?
To maximize the number of uses of your Velour Lashes, we highly recommend placing them in its original casing when not in use. This will protect the lashes from dust and moisture and prevent them from being damaged inside your makeup bag. Please refer to our How to Care page for a detailed explanation of how to care for your Velour Lashes.
Can I swim with my Velour Lashes?
No, we do not recommend swimming, bathing or going in water in your Velour Lashes as this can ruin the curl and style of the lash.
