We couldn’t let another award show go by without mentioning one of our favourite singers and fashion icons - Lizzo!  

Taking home the Video For Good Award and named one of the Best Beauty Looks at the 2022 MTV VMA’s by Vogue, Lizzo stunned everyone with not 1, but 3 looks during the night! 

The About Damn Time singer first stole the show when she walked the carpet in a voluminous black Jean Paul Gaultier Spring Coutre gown with a matching black/blue lipstick, lip ring and a soft but edgy smokey eye using the ‘Smokey Eyes are Forever’ Charlotte Tilbury palette. Her makeup artist Alexx Mayo completed the look with Velour Sassy But Classy lashes. He says, “no look is ever complete without a lash” and “Sassy But Classy is the perfect lash that’s not overwhelming.” 

Did you think Lizzo would only pull off 1 glam moment for the night? Think again! When performing her hit songs “About Damn Time/ 2 Be Loved” she entered the stage in a custom Rey Ortiz wrapped bodysuit.  

 
Alexx went with a fun and vibrant vibe for her performance makeup and illustrated a pastel graphic liner across the eyes and used Velour Serendipity lashes. This look was inspired by a gumball machine, and we agree it was sweet, bubbly and POPPIN’

To bring the iconic MTV VMA show to an end, one last outfit change was needed for her acceptance of the Video For Good Award for About Damn Time’s music video. Channelling her inner Madonna, she wore Haute Coutre by Olivier Rousteing.  

Alexx Mayo worked his magic to bring another glam to life with the dramatic mic-drop yet flirty Velour Dream Girl lashes- perfect for on-stage moments like this!
