It’s Time to Rethink Mink: Introducing our Vegan Luxe Collection 2021
Last year has been a challenge for many of us filled with uncertainties, failures and ‘unprecedented’ times. Here at Velour, we took a big step forward to become the best clean beauty brand and agreed to challenge the status quo. In 2020, we pledged alongside PETA to Rethink Mink and ban any mink-fur eyelashes. This is how Vegan Luxe was born and we are so excited to share it with our Velour Fam!
Rethink Mink
Our main goal while creating our Vegan Luxe false lashes was to preserve the whispiness and the natural feel of mink fibres. We spent a whole year working out the finest details and developing a unique fibre technology that replicates the texture, thickness and curl of natural mink hairs. The result? Vegan Luxe lashes that mimic the look and feel of real mink thanks to the most innovative synthetic, vegan material. We also maintained one of our core promises and Vegan Luxe lashes can be worn up 25+ times if properly taken care of, offering the best quality and cost per use. Unlike other vegan fake lashes, which can look unnatural and synthetic, we promise you will want to take care of your Velour lashes instead of tossing them out after one or two wears.
The New Standard for Luxury Lashes
Mink lashes are not the only lashes synonymous with excellent quality and our Vegan Luxe lashes are here to prove it. The innovative hair-like fibres were created using a unique lash curling technology which achieved the ultimate whispie feel we all love. Trust us, we understood the frustration and absolutely adored all the mink styles too. Since we couldn’t let them go we decided to revamp 13 iconic flash lash styles in Vegan Luxe. This included all time favourites such as Secret Weapon, Sassy But Classy, Run the World and much more! Every style still delivers the classic soft and fluffy touch with the famous Velour quality.
