Holiday Makeup Look: Icy Blue Frost
Step 1: Base
Start with a clear canvas on the eyelids. We recommend applying a concealer or eyeshadow primer evenly over the lid and brow bone, then set it with a neutral, skin-toned shadow or complexion powder. This ensures you have a base that will last all night long without creasing.
Step 2: Shadow
Apply a light, cool, baby blue shadow over the eyelids in a gentle patting motion. We want this to really pop on the eyes, so slowly pack on a layer or two. Kind of like making a snowball, or building a snowman!
Once you get to the crease, gently blend that same blue shadow upwards into the lower brow bone. The color should start to softly diffuse the higher up it goes underneath the brow.
Now for that eye catching sparkle, add an icy – and we mean icyyyy – shimmer to the lids overtop the blue shadow. We recommend a finely milled glitter or shimmer as we want it to seem like it’s engrained within the blue color, not just lying on top. For added glisten, feel free to bring the glow up to the brow bone and inner corners of the eyes – let it snow!
Step 3: Lashes
Saving the best part for last… lashes! You can’t miss this finishing touch as it wraps the whole look together like a big, shiny bow on top of a Christmas present.
Apply Velour-Xtensions™ Lash Clusters above your natural lashes from inner to outer corner to create a customizable lash extension look, using the Too Real Lash Extension Tool or Too Easy Lash Applicator for precise application. Our fav lash glue to pair with these clusters is the Clear Latex-Free Lash Adhesive. It’s mess-free, gentle on the eyes and provides strong hold that’ll last all night long.
Depending on the look you’re trying to achieve or the shape and size of your eyes, apply 3 clusters per eye for a full lash extension look, or 1-2 clusters to create a half lash.
You’re now ready to take on the endless list of holiday festivities – feeling confident yet?
